Support Us
Global Citizenship Education empowers learners to act for a peaceful, just and sustainable future, based on human rights, anti-racism and global solidarity. Supporting us supports Global Citizenship Education.
“The work of WOSDEC has always been close to my heart as an alumni of previous courses. It is a privilege to collaborate with fellow trustees and staff team to build on this work and help to widen the impact of our offer of Global Citizenship Education, a key strand of Scottish Education and an entitlement for all learners.
The values of Global Citizenship, equality and diversity are essential to build a society full of respect and empathy and I look forward to continuing to support the work of WoSDEC as we move forward with existing and new opportunities.”
Nuzhat Uthmani WOSDEC Chair

Get Involved
Global Citizenship Education isn’t just for the education sector or education-based organisations, everyone can get involved! We’re keen to support all organisations to get on board: public, private and third sector! There are a lot of things you can do…
Start a Global Citizenship group in your organisation, with our bespoke support! Working with us on your corporate social environmental responsibility strategy might include:
Anti Racism training: We can provide bespoke training to support become an actively anti-racist organisation. Get in touch to find out more.
Ethical Procurement: how we're connected to others around the world as Global Citizens. Could you be using more Fair Trade products? Are Human Rights and environmental protections in place in the supply chains of your products? Are you supporting local and small scale businesses where possible?
Community Engagement: Get inspired by others around you - our Community Engagement Questionnaire can help you better understand how you can work together.
BCorp accreditation: Developing a partnership with a local third sector organisation is a great way to help you achieve BCorp accreditation, as our partners at Cobry can testify.

Our vision is to create a more hopeful and critically engaged society through active Global Citizenship approaches that promote human rights, environmental justice, and peace-building.
While we are fortunate enough to receive grants for a lot of our projects, the funding doesn’t always cover core running costs and additional work.
Donations help us broaden and deepen our impact, through activities like developing and expanding our anti-racist, Global Citzenship library.

Our Partners
With the generosity of supporters like you, we’re helping create a fairer future. In Scotland and around the world, we make sure young people are equipped as Global Citizens to make sense of the world around them. Help us to empower young people to change the future for good.
Along with our business partners Cobry, we raised money for our Global Citizenship and Anti-Racist Education resource library at 2024’s Glasgow Kiltwalk.
Developing a partnership with a local third sector organisation is a great way to help you achieve BCorp accreditation, as our partners at Cobry can testify.
